Aashi at 9 days...

Aashi's First Week

I'm here!! Hi, I'm Aashi and here are some moments from my first week of life...

I arrived at 1.18pm on April 17, 2013. 

Here's a photo of me and my Mommy right after I was born....

My first visitors were Pushpa maa, Indu maa, big brother Sohan and Dinesh dada...

Here I am fast asleep...

While at the hospital, I also had other visitors...

As you can see, I sleep a lot! :-)

Unfortunately, I had jaundice, so I had to be kept under blue lights...but I'm better now.

Look how tiny my hand is compared to Mommy's hand...

My big brother is so happy I'm here and love me so much...

This is my family...

Mommy and Daddy, my big brother, Sohan, and me...

...and my grandparents, Indu maa and Dinesh dada...

and my other grandparents, Pushpa maa and Sanmukh dada...

 When I got home, my big brother Sohan got me a "welcome home" cake...

shame I couldn't eat it! :-(

Still waiting for my arrival...

I'm still not here yet, but my room is ready and waiting for me!!

Check out the alphabet wall that my mommy made, 

using a mix of crafted, store-bought and vintage letters.

My alphabet has two As...because my name does! :-)

My name is hidden in the alphabet wall...can you see it?

  

One of Mommy's favorite letters is T...for Texas Longhorns! 

Sohanbhai made Q for me. He stamped it with fingerprints and glued on some rhinestones. 

Thanks big bro!

I can't wait to cuddle with Mommy or Daddy in our cozy new rocker...

...and stare at these dragonflies during my diaper changes! :-)
